A Marriage Tool

Marriage is something not to take lightly. It is also something I rarely blog about. I used to on my old blog but God spoke to my heart about how it is not one of the topics for me to focus on. Right now in this season of my life my focus should be on other things.

Honestly I don’t miss blogging about it but today I am going to share with you a great resource I have found!!

This marriage tool lands in my email box every day. Sometimes I use it and sometimes I don’t. The great thing about it is it reminds me to pray for my husband in-depth. When I meditate in God’s word, I also meditate in prayer for my husband.

A Marriage tool

If you have followed me for a while you know I follow the blog Time Warp Wife. I found this little gem in my first year of blogging and have been a faithful follower since. Somewhere in the last year the author Darlene Schacht launched a new blog. (Memory is foggy on exact date)

Today’s Marriage Prayer – A New Prayer For Every Day

It’s great! Each day is new prayer on something different. (I even subscribe to the email list so it goes straight to my inbox.) This past Sunday’s was To Let Go Of The Burdens We Carry. It was a great prompt for praying on this issue. I find that when I get into my day-to-day life that when I pray for my spouse it can become stale, (even repetitive).

These prayer emails have helped break that staleness.

How about you? Do you have specific tools that you use in your prayer time? A list of things you prayer for or on?

  1. Thanks for linking up at the Bloggers Brags party this week. This post is a good reminder to pray for my spouse, and I believe it will strengthen our relationship too.
