The Art Of Valentine Cards

I’ll admit I am the equivalent of the Grinch when it come to Valentine Day. I have never seen the point of it. It was one of those holidays that I just rolled my eyes at. Until this year. The change?

I realized yes every day I tell my husband that I love him. BUT sometimes we get into routine and forget to do the extras. This also goes for my girlfriends. When was the last time I did something that says I care?

………… I drew a blank at that one.

God placed it on my heart this Valentines to celebrate it. I have some neat ideas for The Hubby in the making.(Which I am not sharing cause he is known to read my blog sometimes.)

But God also placed it on my heart to make cards for my friends letting them know I care….

The thing is I didn't realize God meant to try to give a
card to every lady in my church!

Yes, you read right. It’s a huge task to take on but I have. I picked up some cards from Walmart and set to task but hit my first road block… Ends up these cards are scrapbook style. (I had no idea these even existed)

The

Luckily Time Warp Wife has a these great free PDF template with bible verses on them. I printed a whole bunch off and set to work…

Cutting, taping, writing.

I am hand writing in everyone CS Lewis quote:

Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to
another; "What! Your too! I thought I was the only one!"

Why am I taking the time to make each one and write in them? It gives the message of thought. In the day of age when we are so disconnected from one another it will give me a chance to connect with a lot of ladies.

On Sunday I will be the crazy lady in church dashing around handing out gulp probably 75 Valentines.
